  • The average age for a child diagnosed with cancer is 6.

 

  • ONLY 4% of federal government cancer research funding goes to study pediatric cancer.

 

  • Society gives less than 1% of their funds to childhood cancer research.

 

  • Since 1980, only three drugs have been approved specifically for childhood cancer.

 

  • 1 in every 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer.

 

  • 43 children per day are expected to be diagnosed with cancer.

 

  • The average cost of a stay in a hospital for a child with cancer is $40,000.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE

To empower kids to join the fight against pediatric cancer by raising money to provide local CARE for pediatric cancer patients and their families and to fund research to CURE childhood cancer.
